Dateline March 3, 2013 – Eugene, Oregon: The Mayor of Eugene Oregon is calling for “the banning of all military-style assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.” The Honorable Kitty Piercy made the demand at an outside rally of the anti-gun group “Cease Fire Oregon,” held today in the state’s second largest city. Cease Fire Oregon supports (and by some accounts actually wrote) House Bill 3200 which according to gun experts, effectively bans *all* modern firearms and allows for warrantless searches of your home. The Honorable Mayor calls for rally participants to support this and similar pending legislation. Perhaps attendance numbers are an indicator for support for her ideas. Ban the mayor for having no spine and failing to fulfill the mandate of the oath he took when he was elected. If you cant abide by the constitution (Oregon’s and the U.S.A,’s), then feel free to step down and let a true patriot do the job.

The mayor wants to make gun trafficking a federal crime. Under Eric Holder, the federal government illegally shipped arms to Mexican drug cartels and a U.S. Border Agent was killed with one of them, but was anyone prosecuted for Operation Gunwalker?
The constitution protects Americans from tyranny. Allowing a corrupt government to disarm the American people would be the end of freedom.

For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. That’s what I thought listening to these speeches. Does anyone remember this little document called the Constitution?
