Dateline Tuesday February 25, 2020; Portland, Oregon. So who’s surprised? It’s “man bites dog” in the People’s Republic of Portland as teachers propose a $75,600 vacation to Communist China for the little brats. Of course it’s all paid for by you: the helpless, ill-informed dupe: the Oregon taxpayer. With Portland schools rated as some of the worst in the nation, one would think that School Superintendent Guadalupe Guerrero would be concentrating on improving the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic. But no. Instead he’s going to have you pay for this boondoggle which will do nothing for their MCAS scores, and everything towards changing their inclination towards the failed economics of Communism.

Buried deep inside the Board of Education agenda, from January 21st, we find this little gem. “The Board has reviewed the request for out-of-state travel. All required documents have been submitted to the Risk Management Department. The Superintendent recommends that the Board consent to the student out-of-state travel for the below request:” (Translated: Bend over ‘cuz here it comes!)

Columns two and five contain the key numbers. That’s 36 students at a cost of $2,100 per student for a whopping $75,600 bill to the taxpayer. Let’s not even get started on why we are teaching these kids Chinese when most of them can’t add or spell, and while the Best President in American History is emphasizing: “AMERICA FIRST.” One can only imagine how few of these students have even visited our own nation’s Capitol.
