Journalist Koston Szafranski alerted police and then engaged in a high speed foot chase of an accused sexual predator, who is also suspected in the vicious assault of a Portland Patriot with a softball-sized rock. Szsfranski caught it all on video!

DATELINE SATURDAY NOVEMBER 1, 2025; PORTLAND OREGON: Well Portand Oregon’s Patriot counterprotest has no shortage of heroic moments but last night might be its most shining hour to date. While filming, Journalist Koston Szafranski picked up on some red shoes that he thought looked familiar. “It’s the shoes …,” you can hear him musing as the wheels of his mind begin to turn. “That’s him!” he exclaims in that “aha moment” and he makes a bee line for a nearby police cruiser. There he explains to the officers that the Antifa he spotted is wanted by the police. Just at that moment you can hear one of the police officers exclaim “He’s running!” Both Szafranski and the police then set out on a wild chase through the streets of SW Portland sprinting and darting past buildings and vacant lots surrounding the nearby ICE facility.

The story began about three weeks ago when mysterious citizen journalist known only as “Ocean Plot” posted a horrifying video of a Patriot Counter-Protestor being smashed in the head from behind with a softball-sized rock. Watch the Ocean Plot video here:

Patriots later identified the person allegedly committing the assault as 21-year-old Gabriel “Gabe” Lyons. At last report in the mainstream media, Lyons was accused out in Sandy Oregon of encouraging sexual abuse of a child, third-degree rape and third-degree sodomy, but he had yet to be tried on these alleged charges. The trial had been set for March 17, 2022. Lyons goes dark after that.

Even more chilling, according to the online publication NEWSBREAK, Lyons allegedly tried to set his victim’s house on fire. From the story:

While on the way to the call, dispatch advised that a man (Lyons) had left the scene of the disturbance on a bicycle,” police reported at the time. “The caller reported he had a bottle of gasoline and that he was intent on burning down the home of the petitioner in a restraining order against him. Officers intercepted the man before he could reach his intended target and arrested him. The man threw a Dr. Pepper bottle full of gasoline during a brief chase and was in possession of lighters and rolls of toilet paper at the time of his arrest.”

Szafranski shed all of his gear to make the chase: helmet, backpack, and gimbal were apparently all thrown to the side as he hastened after the perp. Some items were recovered but some were stolen by the Antifa. He’s still trying to make himself whole. “Dono deets” can be found on his X profile here. “That Motherf*ckers fast!,” quips our hero, “Good Lord!”. But the perp is apparently no match for the exuberance of the Patriot youth movement. Szafranski who harkens from Las Vegas has decided to make Portland his home for the time being. Perhaps some hope remains for the City of Roses, which for the past few decades has fallen into a state of decay at hands of Socialists, Communists, Anarchists and seemingly indifferent corrupt politicians such as Governor Tina Kotek and Mayor Keith Wilson.
