Dateline Portland Oregon – February 18, 2013: BREAKING At a public meeting on guns today, a former candidate for State Representative took to the stage to attack recognized gun expert and Director/Founder of the Oregon Firearms Federation Kevin Starrett. Prominent Democrat Lee Coleman sounded the only uncivil remarks during the discusion asserting that Mr. Starrett is having psychotic delusions and asking “Are you seeing a psychiatrist?” Mr. Starrett handles the remarks with class while Coleman is quickly rebuked by the event’s moderator and given the hook. The remarks took place at the Washington County Public Affairs Forum held near Portland Oregon today.
UPDATE: Lee Coleman goes on to call Kenvin Starrett an “A$$hole” and the Camerman: “Go screw yourself”

Referring to a former candidate for State Representative as a prominent Democrat seems like a bit of a stretch. Perhaps Lee Coleman has a string of accomplishments that qualifies him to be considered prominent, but I am not aware of what they might be.
I thought Mr. Starrett did a nice job of presenting his views on the gun issue. I don’t agree with all of his positions, but I thought he expressed himself well. Though he represented a point of view I don’t necessarily subscribe to, I didn’t see his presentation fraught with lies and deception.
He certainly didn’t say anything that indicated he required psychiatric intervention.
