COVER OREGON BOARD DINES ON TAXPAYER BUFFET, ARRIVES LATE, “RESTS EYES” DURING MEETING

“Kitzhaber’s Kronies” arrive after finance report, stuff faces, and may have “drifted off” during meeting.

(analysis) Dateline Monday December 9, 2013; Portland Oregon: Cover Oregon, Oregon’s Obamacare, has yet to sign up at single applicant online. The web site is well over two months late, with Oregon being rated *last* among peers. You would think this would invoke a sense or urgency in the Cover Oregon Board members appointed by Governor John Kitzhaber. Apparently not so. The Board met on Thursday November 14, 2013 in Northeast Portland. In these clips, members can be seen dining off a taxpayer funded buffet at a time when many Oregonians are having trouble making ends meet. Two of Kitzhaber’s Kronies, Ken Allen (Executive Director at AFSCME) and Dr. George Brown (CEO Legacy Health) are seen arriving late. A couple of the members, Brown, and Executive Director Rocky King can also been seen “resting their eyes” during the meeting.
